<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article considers the current state of neuroeconomics and the potential of its scientific contribution to economic thought through behavioral economics. The methodological basis of the work is the analysis of relevant scientific publications, a critical review of key theoretical approaches and experimental studies in both disciplines. The article provides a conceptual distinction between neuroeconomic and behavioral methods, and formulates prospects for their integration. The author reveals the prospects of neuroeconomics in overcoming the limitations of traditional economic models: reinforcement of standard economic models; clarification of decision-making mechanisms, especially automatic processes; improvement of the predictive power of models; assistance in overcoming traditional problems associated with identifying preferences and eliminating the discrepancy between declared and true preferences. They then pay particular attention to the methodological difficulties of integrating neuroeconomics into behavioral research, such as terminological discrepancies, limited samples, competency gap and a focus on individual’s internal processes to the detriment of external factors. The analysis of risk aversion in classical, behavioral, and neuroeconomic paradigms demonstrates contradictions in interpreting key concepts. The results of the work contribute to the development of economic theory by critically rethinking the methodological foundations of neuroeconomics, substantiating its potential in explaining behavior mechanisms and predicting consumer choice. We emphasize the importance of neuromarketing as a practiceoriented area, where neuroeconomic methods demonstrate high efficiency. Despite the persistent skepticism in the academic community and slow progress in forming common theoretical foundations, the improvement of experimental methods and interdisciplinary synthesis can provide a breakthrough in understanding economic behavior by combining the achievements of neuroscience and behavioral economics.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>экономическое поведение</kwd><kwd>поведенческая экономика</kwd><kwd>нейроэкономика</kwd><kwd>нейромаркетинг</kwd><kwd>методология науки</kwd><kwd>экспериментальные методы.</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>economic behavior</kwd><kwd>behavioral economics</kwd><kwd>neuroeconomics</kwd><kwd>neuromarketing</kwd><kwd>methodology of science</kwd><kwd>experimental methods.</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Данилкина, Д.
